Anord's Scope of Work:
The Intel project was a significant project for Anord, with major investment. Having successfully completed the substations for FAB 10 and FAB 14, the main difference was that we introduced our new AS insulated Substation Design to Intel. This was a redesign of the previous MDY version of the Substation which was designed specifically for Intel’s requirements, which included the introduction of the Henikwon Busduct to Intel for the first time.
The customers requirements were for a fully type tested top entry 100kA 5000A insulated busbar substation. Working alongside Intel Anord’s design was tailored to the customer’s requirements. Thus by working so closely with Intel to develop the conceptual design we were able to far exceed customer expectations.
Key Features of Project:
During this programme Anord were introducing a new substation design to that used in FAB 14 but it was designed specifically to Intel’s requirements. The project was very successful form both Anord’s and Intel’s point of view, with both parties working in synergy to achieve the optimum solution.

Our ability to work with the client to design and deliver bespoke solutions and provide full project management and installation for such a large project allowed Anord to display their skills to the full potential.
