Anord's Scope of Work:

Conoco Philips whitegate refinery required MCC associated transformers and medium MV isolaters to control their new DAF and sludge handling plant. Due to the remote location of the plant they required a solution to provide all of the SIG and MCC to be packaged into a modular switchroom suitable for mounting outdoors close to the location of the plant.

Key features of Project:

Working with the clients design group Jacobs engineering Ltd, Anord undertook to engineer and deliver this composite solutionThe final solution was based on an Anord package sub – station / MCC incorporated 3.3 kv isolator close coupled mv/v transformer close coupled to the plant withdrawable MCC. All provided within a dedicated switchroom which was fully fitted and fully factory tested before being delivered to site.

By working closely with Jacobs engineering Anord undertook to engineer and deliver this composite solution ensuring that the client was provided with a complete package. During design the client Conoco Philips, Jacobs engineering Ltd and Anord worked together resulting in a first class project design solution delivered on time, within budget.
