Anord's Scope of Work:
We initially engaged with the project from conceptual design to detailed design and delivery of a turnkey package.The design stage lasted for almost six months with a major shift from the original tender to the resultant build with all parties involved working to a common goal. During the design phase the original tender was revised significantly which challenged and facilitated a consultative approach.The customer was very much involved in the design and the resultant product was tailored to all requirements.
The main driver for this project was to deliver a cost effective solution while not compromising on performance. New approaches to conventional thinking were employed along with latest technological advances in products to produce truly innovative solutions.
Key Features of Project:
Special test equipment and arrangements were implemented to fully demonstrate the system. This project pushed the capabilities of all concerned to new levels, including component manufacturers, but has delivered a show case result. The main element that has led to the success was the openness and willingness for all concerned to achieve a fit for purpose solution.
During FAT, any issues were discussed and resolved to every ones satisfaction.

Anord was pro actively involved in this project, we put forward the joint venture with FSDL and detailed benefits that could be realised from this approach with one project manager covering manufacturing and installation. The partnership involvement from such an early stage enabled us to contribute to a significant value engineering process delivering an innovative solution using new technology delivering real savings and fit for purpose solutions.
